The GDHCC’s ESL Entrepreneurship Program is designed to help Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs learn the fundamental steps associated with starting a business and provide an overview of how to run a business in the U.S. to comply with the laws, regulations, permits, etc. It also serves as a catalyst for access to small business resources through community partners.
For this program, the GDHCC has chosen the FastTrac New Venture curriculum, which equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the business skills, insights, tools, resources, and peer networks necessary to start and grow successful businesses. The program helps them clear the path from idea to business start. |

Upon graduation, the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GDHCC) offers a free one-year membership to all program graduates. Guest Speakers
We invite speakers from the community and business owners to share their expertise and advice; participants are particularly interested in hearing their stories.
Local service providers (bankers, attorneys, accountants, marketing consultants, insurance brokers, business brokers) are usually very willing to share their expertise.
Each module suggests the types of speakers most appropriate for the content and provides questions for the guest speakers to address during their presentations.
