Amanda Moreno-Lake Leads GDHCC as Interim President & CEO
The Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce remains committed to serving our members and the community under the leadership of our Chairwoman of the Board, Amanda Moreno-Lake, who currently serves as Interim President and CEO.
Amanda Moreno-Lake brings more than two decades of proven leadership and deep community roots to this role. As President of Redevelopment at Jim Lake Companies and Founder & CEO of Moreno-Lake Redevelopment and Lake Moreno Partners, LLC, she has demonstrated exceptional skill in managing complex organizations, overseeing more than 3.5 million square feet of property, and building successful partnerships across public and private sectors. Her track record of transforming communities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region—from the revitalization of downtown Waxahachie to current projects in Ennis and Cedar Hill—reflects the strategic vision and collaborative approach she brings to the GDHCC.
As a business leader who has championed economic development in underserved communities throughout her career, Moreno-Lake understands the unique opportunities and challenges facing all small business owners, particularly those navigating barriers to capital, resources, and market access.
As Chairwoman of the Board, Moreno-Lake is deeply committed to advancing the Chamber's mission. Her extensive network and relationships with municipal leaders, financial institutions, and business organizations position her well to guide the Chamber during this transition while maintaining momentum on key initiatives including membership growth, economic development programs, and expanded opportunities for small businesses throughout the region. Beyond her business accomplishments, Moreno-Lake's commitment to community service runs deep. She serves on the boards of Harmony Bank and UNT Dallas Foundation and previously served on the boards of DART and the Dallas Arboretum.
Her honors include the GDHCC Empire Builder Award in 2023, multiple-year DCEO Dallas 500 recognition, DFW Real Estate Review Placemaker, and Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce Public Servant of the Year. These accolades underscore her leadership and commitment to creating economic opportunity and positive change. Her guidance ensures continuity of our mission to advocate, promote, and facilitate the growth and development of small businesses throughout the Dallas region. All programs, services, and member benefits continue without interruption, and we encourage you to reach out with questions or opportunities for partnership.
The Board of Directors will announce the timeline for a comprehensive CEO search process in the coming months, ensuring we select the right leader to build on GDHCC's momentum. In the meantime, we appreciate the continued support of our members, partners, and the greater Dallas business community as we move forward together.
